                                Sub: Settlement of terminal benefits C/o smt.K.S.Kalyani PA Pondicherry HPO-requested

                Smt. K.S.Kalyani PA Pondicherry HPO retired from service on 28.02.2014. Though more than five weeks passed since her retirement  the above retired official has not received retirement benefits so far.  when the case was enquired in the Divisional Office it was informed that as the official was awarded with FR 17A for the participation of strike held at Divisional level in the last year, the case is still pending. As per the existing provisions, the FR 17A issued for the participation of strike will be condoned automatically in case of employees those who are retiring from service and all their terminal benefits will be paid as usual without delay. But in the instant case this procedure has not been followed.

                Hence our Circle Union requests the DPS Sir to kindly intervene in this matter immediately causing the necessary instructions for the official to get all the retirements benefits as early as possible.

FAKE LIST GOYABALS

The Fake list Goyabals spreading non stop LIES and RUMOURS. They should know lies will not work forever.In the instant case for latest LIE. in the captured blogspot of our union they have said on 23.03.2014 at Trichy HPO their group meeting was held and also they had said all the Divisional and Branch Secretaries of the entire Circle have participated in that meeting. If their statement is true that must be supported with the names of Divisions and Branches those who have participated in that meeting. To our knowledge it is ascertained that not exceeding 15 persons, in that also some of the persons were neither branch secretary nor divisional secretary participated. Therefore these Goyabals should understand  that simply by giving these kind of  untrue information's continuously  is not going to work anymore. There is no democracy without the verdict of majority. Therefore it is good atleast hereafter these Goyabals propaganda will be stopped. And they should realize that Majority must function.

It has been decided to declare Monday, the 14th April 2014, as a Closed Holiday on account of the birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, for all Central Government Offices including Industrial Establishments throughout India.

2. The above holiday is also being notified in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of

1881).

3. All Ministries/Departments of Government of India may bring the above decision to the notice of all concerned.

Tamilnadu Circle the 25th Circle Conference was held at Anna Arangam, Kanchipuram from
25.02.2014 to 27.02.2014 under the Presidentship of Sri D.Vinayagam, Circle President. In
the conference Sri D.Theagarajan Secretary General FNPO and Sri D.Kishan Rao, General
Secretary participated and greeted. On the date of 27.02.2014, the agenda of Election of
office-bearers conducted in the presence of Sri S.Venkatasubramanian, ASPO’s Egmore
RMS, official observer. The following office bearers were unanimously elected in the election.
